Accommodations

There are two hotels within easy walking distance of USC: the USC Radisson hotel and the Vagabond Inn. We are holding a number of rooms for conference participants at the Radisson (see below). In addition to the Radisson and the Vagabond, there are many other hotel options available in the sprawling metropolis of Los Angeles, quite a few of which are convenient to USC via public transportation.

Limited crash space will be available for student presenters on a first-come, first-served basis. For information, please contact Hayeun Jang by 11:59 p.m. ET on September 30, 2016.

The USC Radisson Hotel

A limited number of rooms have been blocked for the nights of October 20-22 at the Radisson at USC, directly across the street from campus (3540 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles).  The conference room rate is $189 USD/night.  All rooms are double occupancy.  Wifi and access to the fitness center are complementary; parking is available at a rate of $22 USD/night.

To book, call 1-800-333-3333 and indicate that you are part of the Phonology Conference, or go to http://uscradisson.com and use the access code PHONO.  Reservations within the room block must be made by Monday, September 19.  To reserve for dates beyond October 20-22, call (213)-748-4141.

The Vagabond Inn

The Vagabond Inn is a motel two blocks north of USC. Rates start at $93 USD/night.

Other Hotels

Because of USC’s location on the Expo Line, hotels in Downtown LA, Culver City and Santa Monica are all within easy reach. You can browse hotels online at sites such as http://hotels.com or http://trivago.com . When making your reservation, be sure that the hotel is within walking distance of an Expo Line stop; your feet will thank you.
